EXHIBITION AT IKUINEN GALLERY: Laura Lehtinen - Helmi omakuva!

Helmi omakuva! - exhibition and workshops 4.3.-8.3.2014

Almost every artist creates a serie of self-portraits in some point of their life. My moment came now.
All art pieces in the exhibition are made out of hama beads. I study my various sides and love towards colors and handcrafting. Many pieces are like canvases but the materiality of beads brings also sculptural multidimensionality.
Helmi omakuva! - exhibition is open Tue 4.3.- Sat 8.3.2014 in Ikuinen Galleria (Finlaysoninkuja 3, 33210 Tampere). Artist is having workshops, where you can get to know (or fall in love again) to the world of hama beads, on Friday 7.3. and Saturday 8.3. Material payment 2€ (cash).
