Mountains, great new people and learning - Part 4

By Oona Seppänen
11IMPs, TAMK second year media students made a field trip to European Youth Award events in Graz. This is the last of the four parts of Oona Seppänen's report.

Saturday morning we heard interesting discussions about new ideas and perspectives about the future of digital society.

After the discussions it was our turn to give feedback to European Youth Award winners. The presentations went well and hopefully the winner teams got some new ideas from us how to develop their concepts.

Then it was time to get ready for evening. Everybody looked fancy and were excited to see who is the overall winner of The European Youth Awards. At the Gala Stella Tembisa Ndabeni Abrahams, Deputy Minister of Communications from South Africa gave an inspiring speech and all the winners got their awards. Overall winner was Mirabilia, The Wonders designed by Erika Rossi from Italy, congratulations to her!

After the award ceremony IMPs were ready for networking. Thumbs up!

Sunday morning it was time to head back to Finland. In our way we saw the beautiful Christmas markets in Vienna.

Tired but happy, thanks for a great trip everyone!
