Media Programme grows up - the first Theses coming

Our four year BA Degree Programme in Media - known as IMP (International/Interactive Media Programme - started three years ago. The last year of the first edition of students kicked off today with the Media Analysis and Research seminar, aimed at helping the students to process their final Thesis project.

Eevi Korhonen works with Wooga in Berlin

The first session, carefully prepared and moderated by Lecturer Kirsi Karimäki featured short introductions by the lecturers and discussions in small groups of students who plan to do their thesis about similar topics; a group for visual design, another for user experience design and a third for game designers etc.

The special guest was Eevi Korhonen over video conference from Berlin. Eevi is ahead of schedule and will graduate in December. She shared her experiences about the Thesis work process with her fellow students.

The seminar gathered on Ada, our open learning space

Some of our fourth year students already work in other Finnish locations or abroad, so we have made it possible to participate in the seminar online.

Also some ambitious third year students, planning to graduate in three years joined the seminar.
