TAMK School of Art and Media Blog Launched Today

The School of Art and Media started blogging in Finnish at the end of January this year. One of the most important tasks of the school is to attract the most talented young people send their applications to one of its Degree Programmes. But it's not easy.

The web site is good for sharing information, but it's official and static. A blog can better illustrate the everyday life and highlights. The blog became pretty popular, and got several postings a week. But since the School of Art and Media is international there was a need for a blog in English too, especially since we are starting a new international Bachelor's Degree Programme in Interactive Media Next year.

We hope that this blog will serve the 160 TAMK University of Applied Sciences partners in 40 countries, the 30 partner universities of TAMK School of Art and Media, our other international partners, the exchange students and many enthusiastic and talented applicants to our new international Degree Programme.

We are also proud to publish links to student projects in the left column of this blog. There's more of them in the Finnish sister blog, but those published here should make sense also for persons without knowledge of Finnish language.
